As part of our series of short films celebrating the scientists dedicated to improving women’s health, Dr. Laura Velazquez Villegas, an AXA grantee at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, is exploring a new treatment strategy to help women with osteoporosis, a disability that can be associated with menopause, regain their mobility to lead a more comfortable life.
