Inventory is very low in Barrie and on average selling 200 properties a monthly for the last few months. As warm weather comes in more Buyers will be out home shopping. Inventory is low in the city of Barrie and I don't see it getting any better soon, so prices will continue to rise. As the housing costs rise in Barrie and Simcoe County it is leaving no choice for home buyers and new home buyers leave. Some are leaving and selling their properties in Barrie to become mortgage free. And others who want to get into the real estate market have no choice due to affordability and the impact of home prices and rising interest rates.
