Hello viewers, recently March 2022 I have visited Istanbul, Turkey. Istanbul is a world center of great importance in the past and present. The city embraces Asia on the one hand and Europe on the other. Istanbul is Turkey's most populous city and its cultural and financial center. Located on both sides of the Bosphorus, the narrow strait between the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea, Istanbul bridges Asia and Europe both physically and culturally. With its historical peninsula, numerous scenic and historical sites, Istanbul is a magnificently unique city that has been the capital to many civilizations from past to present and still continues to be home to residents from all over the world. I will try to show most famous tourist places, historical and architectural sites of Istanbul during my visit through this YouTube channel “Travelers Eyes”.

নীল মসজিদটি ইস্তাম্বুলের অন্যতম আইকনিক ল্যান্ডমার্ক এবং একটি ঐতিহাসিক দৃশ্য যা আপনার মিস করা উচিত নয়। এটি শহরের স্কাইলাইন এবং বেশিরভাগ পর্যটকদের ফটোতে আধিপত্য বিস্তার করে। যাইহোক, এটি শুধুমাত্র একটি পর্যটক আকর্ষণ নয় একটি সক্রিয় ধর্মীয় ভবনও! আসুন জেনে নেওয়া যাক কীভাবে এই শ্বাসরুদ্ধকর মসজিদটি তৈরি হল।

If you are wondering why it’s called the Blue Mosque, you will find the answer inside. Beautiful Islamic-style ornaments cover the mosque’s interior and give its oriental vibe. Verses of the Qur’an and the sayings of the prophet Muhammad decorate the inside of the Blue Mosque.
If you look around, you’ll know where the mosque got its name: from the beautiful ceramic tiles in hues of blue covering the inside of the domes. These handmade tiles show traditional Ottoman patterns, depicting lilies, carnations, fruits, tulips, and more. They came from a town called İznik, which is known for producing these wonderful decorative tiles.
The upper levels of the mosque are well-lit, with natural light shining through more than 200 gorgeous stained glass windows. There are also enormous chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Back then, they placed ostrich eggs between the oil lamps to repel spiders and their webs.
The floor is covered with a red carpet, which is regularly replaced once worn out and is usually donated by religious people.
