If you want to make your own font in Inkscape then follow along with this video first. In this video, I show you how to make a typography template to make it easy to move from Inkscape to FontForge so you can turn your SVG font into a True Type font or Open Type font.

If you have tried to use Inkscape’s Typography Template and then transferred your font to FontForge then you will know that they just don’t line up. That’s where this template comes in, follow along and make this template for yourself - creating a font in Inkscape and then moving it to FontForge to turn into an Open Type or True Type font will be simple.
