Defence Minister Rajnath Singh underlined the significance of the legislation as a remarkable achievement in the domain of military reforms. Amidst opposition protests concerning their demands on the Manipur discussion, the Defence Minister introduced the Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control and Discipline) Bill, 2023 for deliberation in the House.
Rajnath Singh stated, ""This bill represents a crucial stride towards achieving cohesion and collaboration among the three branches of our Armed Forces. Its purpose is to equip them to confront future challenges with a united and harmonized approach."" This statement was made in the Lok Sabha while discussing the Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control and Discipline) Bill, 2023.

This is a very important bill and this will strengthen the central command and will be crucial for the Chief of Army Staff. The speciality of this bill is that previously when the three acts that used to govern are now forged into one single bill. But 1 limitation which I feel is the punishment to be given according to these 3 acts even now is different. So I would suggest that all the punishments should also be amalgamated into one
