শিলিগুড়ি বা নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি থেকে মিরিক হয়ে দার্জিলিং যাবার পথেই পড়বে দার্জিলিঙের সবচেয়ে সুন্দর চা বাগান গোপালধারা টি এস্টেট। নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি থেকে যার দূরত্ব প্রায় 68 km।

গোপালধারা টি এস্টেটের মোট জমির পরিমাণ 790 একর।যার মধ্যে 430একর জমিতে চা চাষ করা হয়।

কথিত আছে,1881 সালে গোপাল নামে এক ব্যক্তিএই পাহাড়ের ধাপে ধাপে ধান চাষ করতে শুরু করেন। নেপালি ভাষায় ধাপকে বলা হয় ধারা। তাই এই জায়গার নাম দেওয়া হয় গোপালধারা।

গোলগোল ঢিপির আধিক্যের জন্য অনেকে এই জায়গাটিকে গোলপাহাড় ভিউ পয়েন্টও বলে থাকেন।

সবুজ চা বাগানের অপরূপ সৌন্দর্য আপনাদের সবাইকে করবে মুগ্ধ।
