Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province, also known as Rongcheng and Jincheng. It is a super-large city, one of the national central cities, and the largest city in western China.
Located in the southwest region of China, the western part of the Sichuan Basin, and the Chengdu Plain hinterland, Chengdu has a subtropical monsoon humid climate. Chengdu is also the birthplace of ancient Shu civilization, with a history of 3000 years. It is also one of the famous tourist cities in China. Many dynasties established their capitals here, and Chengdu has more than 90 scenic spots throughout the city.
