While the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve doesn’t have as many blooms this year compared to previous seasons, the surrounding area is still worth a visit!

𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 🚗🌼

📍This loop passes just outside the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve and winds through areas where you’ll still find hillsides bursting with orange.
✨Best time to visit: Go on a sunny day! Poppies tend to close up when it’s cloudy, so clear skies will give you the best views.

🚫 Leave No Trace:
• Stay on designated paths and avoid stepping on or laying in flower fields.• Don’t pick the poppies! They’re protected and belong in the wild.• Be mindful of private property and look for signs before pulling over.

📸 Pro tip: Pull off only where it’s safe to stop and be cautious of other drivers. Bring your zoom lens or take photos from the edges, there is no need to trample for the shot.
