Travel Review: Namaqua (Namakwa) National Park Coastal Area (South Africa Self Drive)[National Park]

Our travel review of the coastal section of the Namaqua National Park, located in the Northern Cape Province, on the West Coast of South Africa. Though the Namaqualand gets a lot of attention for the famous Namakwa flower season, the coastal section is well worth a visit and should be considered for any Northern Cape road trip and overlanding plans, especially for the self-sufficient traveller.


As always these last few years, we took this adventure in our Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series, affectionately known as the Wild Dog.
