Synth Stuff Ep. 87 - Oberheim TEO-5

I've mentioned many times that I'm a massive fan of the Oberheim sound. When I first got word of the TEO-5, I first thought it was a photoshopped Take 5...but when I learned it was real, I was interested. I was worried though; will it sound like an Oberheim, or will it be more like the OB-6? Fortunately, it sounds like an Oberheim. It has that classic Oberheim sharpness and sizzle. I love the OBX8, but I sure wish it had the blue stripes look, so I was happy to see that on the TEO-5. It's the little things! The form factor is a bit small, but that means I don't necessarily have to part with my trusty Matrix-6 to fit one into the studio. I don't know what else to say...I love this thing.
