Welcome to Oxi Fresh Arena.

On July 1, 2021, Building Futures held a grand opening for the new Oxi Fresh Arena, officially opening the state-of-the-art basketball gym. The event included free food and drinks, live music, and inspirational speeches from the Oxi Fresh CEO and several coaches from the DPA staff.

“It’s a pleasure to be here. We want to inspire achievements,” said Jonathan Barnett, Oxi Fresh Founder and CEO. “When you achieve something in your youth, it stays with you for life.”

Owned and operated by BE Properties Corp., Oxi Fresh Arena is home to the world-class Denver Prep Academy Team, T2 Basketball Club, and 6Pack Soul. Building Futures is so excited to continue our partnership with these athletic organizations, but we’re always looking to help other groups or organizations.

Located in Denver, Colorado, Oxi Fresh Arena is a 10,000 square-foot facility with a hardwood court and a beautiful barrel roof interior, setting it apart from other gyms in the area.

Making the arena a reality consisted of undying love, blind commitment, and unconditional belief. It’s about making sure someone else is successful, and we achieve that through the Denver Prep Academy and T2 basketball programs. At Building Futures, we want to change the lives of student-athletes by teaching that academics and athletics are equally important. By doing this, we can change their course in life for the better, pushing them past their perceived limits. We strive to do that every day for our student-athletes. We are here to inspire achievement through hard work and dedication, both on and off of the court.

T2 Basketball: Hundreds of young players have been a part of T2 Basketball through club games and camps, learning the fundamentals of basketball, team work, and self-discipline.

Denver Prep: DPA is a learning institution that focuses on academics and athletics. With expert teachers and coaches with national and international experience, the student-athletes have every opportunity to be successful.

“It’s a much bigger thing for me, to be able to open the doors of the gym in this neighborhood (rather) than just coming in and blowing a whistle and drawing up plays. It’s all of you guys coming together from so many walks of life into this neighborhood that I love so much,” said Director of Basketball Operations, Raymond Valdez.

Now that Oxi Fresh Arena is finally a reality, T2 Basketball and Denver Prep Academy players will be running up and down the court, focusing on getting to the next level while building towards their futures through athletics, social activism, and academics.
