HOW TO MAKE OLD FASHIONED CORN FLAKE CANDY

Making Cornflake Candy has quickly became a Christmas tradition in my household over the past couple of years because they are so delicious and also simple enough to make that they take no time. These make great gifts because who doesnt love some good Christmas Candy?! Give these a try if you're wanting to make a delicious sweet peanut buttery treat that everyone is sure to love.

CORNFLAKE CANDY RECIPE:
1 cup of granulated sugar

1 cup of light corn syrup

1 heaping cup of peanut butter

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

5 cups of corn flakes

HOW TO MAKE THE CORNFLAKE CANDY:

First I start by lining my baking pans with wax paper or parchment paper, you will want to have this done and ready to go so when youre recipe is warm and ready to be scooped out youre prepared. Set your lined baking sheets aside. It also helps to pre-measure out all your ingredients before starting. Next you will add the sugar and Corn syrup into a saucepan and bring to a boil on medium to medium high heat stirring regularly. Once it starts boiling remove from the heat and add the peanut butter and vanilla and mix until smooth. Next we will add our cornflakes a little at a time fully incorporating and mixing them into the peanut butter mixture. Next you will quickly spoon these out onto your lined baking sheets in as big a peice of candies as you would like but I prefer the smaller ones personally. Set aside to cool until they firm up. Then they are ready to enjoy!
