In this episode, we lift BareBare out with a big crane and put her in the sea for the very first time. We also learn how easy it is to row a catamaran with long Viking oars.

In this episode, we launch BareBare at the famous maritime museum area in Oslo, Bygdøy. We have been laying just meter away from Roald Amundsen’s «Gjøa», which Amundsen sailed as the first ever through the North-West Passage in 1906. Next lays also «Fram» which the same hero, Roald Amundsen, sailed south to the Antarctic. Amundsen became the first man ever to reach the south pole. And last but not least, our hero Thor Heyerdahl and his Kon-Tiki museum. Before launching BareBare the crane had launched a renaissance replica built in the museum area. We were among so many famous ships...
