Shabnam, Saleem, and Amroha Murder Case: Shabnam is a name that is in the headlines lately because if things do not go her way, she could be the first woman hanged in the history of Indian democracy. Shabnam is accused and found guilty of killing almost 7 members of her own family including her father, mother, brother, sister-in-law, another brother, cousin, and a 9-year-old nephew. She did it all with the help of her lover Saleem.

In the year 2010, the Amroha sessions court, while examining the case, provided them a death sentence which was supported and upheld by the Allahabad High Court. And so was done by the Supreme Court.
