Fly Fishing Washington State Puget Sound in August [Series Episode #22]

In this episode we are fly fishing for Silver Salmon and Pink Salmon. We fly fish with Colin Flanagan from Flanagan Fly Fishing (https://www.flanaganflyfishing.com/) , using dry fly poppers and wet flies to catch and release hard fighting fish. We are on the water as the sun comes up and cross the water to shores of Whidbey Island in search of feeding salmon. We cast and pull wet flies, catching and releasing some nice fish very close to shore. Then we find a school of feeding fish and it is time for the poppers. An incredible way to fish for salmon in the Sound. Casting into feeding fish and actively pulling the popper and anticipating the attack. So much fun. I hope you enjoy this episode.
