In this video today we will see how to increase RAM in windows.

You can use RAM to increase the performance of your system although it is not as good as the real RAM. Also it should be always attached to the system and should have more capacity then the RAM installed.

Open the my computer icon.
Right click on the driver and then click on “Properties”.
Click on “Read boost” tab.
Select “Use this device”.
Then click on “Apply”.
The system will automatically determine how much space to use.
Then click on “OK”.
Now if you want to know whether the usb device is being used or not then open the usb drive.
Inside you will see “ready boost” file.
Now in case if you want to disable ready boost then again double click pc icon.
Right click on the usb drive.
Click on “Properties”.
Click on “Ready boost”.
Select “do not use this device”.
Click on “Apply” and then “OK”.
Also if you want to increase the performance of your system then you can increase the virtual memory of your system.
Right click on my computer icon.
Click on “properties”.
Click on “Advanced system settings”.
Click on “Advanced” tab.
Under “performance”, click on “Settings”.
Click on “Advnaced”.
Click on “Change”.
Remove the tick mark from “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives”.
Click on “custom size”.
Now you need to enter the mb for the initial size and maximum size.
See the recommended mb and you can put the recommended mb in the initial size and double the size in the maximum size.
Click on “OK”.
Now restart your computer.
