A.R. Rahman Wins Big at Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2024 for Blessy's 'Aadujeevitham' Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran!

Rahman’s work competed with other talented nominees, including Segun Akinola (Girl You Know It's True), Arli Liberman and Tiki Taane (Ka Wahawhai Tonu), Hao-Ting Shih and Tae-Young Yu (Mongrels), Karzan Mahmood (The Seed of the Sacred Fig), and Sandro Morales-Santoro (The Shadow of the Sun).

Aadujeevitham tells the story of Najeeb Mohammed, a Malayali worker who ends up herding goats in the harsh deserts of Saudi Arabia. Directed by Blessy, the film took over ten years to make because of financial and logistical challenges. Shooting took place in six phases between March two thousand eighteen and July two thousand twenty-two, in locations like Jordan's Wadi Rum desert, Algeria's Sahara, and Kerala, India.

The movie stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, with Amala Paul as Sainu and Jimmy Jean-Louis as Ibrahim Khadiri. Rahman’s powerful music, combined with Sunil K. S.’s stunning cinematography and A. Sreekar Prasad’s sharp editing, adds emotional depth to the story.
