Both Colm Phelan and Áine Mc Geeney are founding members of the popular and multi-award-winning quintet Goitse.The band have released five critically acclaimed recordings and maintains a year round touring schedule that includes performances throughout Ireland and the UK, Germany, France and the United States. Colm also released a solo album titled 'Full Circle' in 2012 featuring Áine on fiddle. The album was described as being '..a roller coaster ride of jaw dropping and breath-taking proportions' by Irish Music Magazine. This year, Goitse received the award for 'Best Trad Album' for their fifth album ‘Úr’ from the ASLR Celtic Music Awards while Áine received the award for 'Best Female Musician’.
