This spectacular video looking from Hoppy's Landing to Wilbur Point 1 mile away. It's ironic that the sun at its lowest in the sky can bring such brilliant light to create imagery like this., with a little help of no breeze.
The music although haunting - was actually very beautiful and perfect for this clip with the music slowing pulsating in waves.

The earth is also nearest to the sun this time of year and is fast approaching (perihelion) its peak in about 30 days.
*ML's Note - Many might question how the earth can be the closest to the sun this time of year while the winter brings us the shortest days and coldest temps. The problem is the low angle of the sun and its speed across the sky. In a nut shell - the sun isn't high or out long enough in the northern hemisphere.
December Solstice (Winter Solstice) is on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 5:44 am in Boston. This day is 6 hours, 13 minutes shorter than on June Solstice. In most locations north of Equator, the shortest day of the year is around this date.
Earliest sunset is on December 8.
However, our friends in the southern hemisphere are beginning to enjoy the Summer of 2016-2017.
