Youth Retreat: Celebrating Lenape Culture at Cohanzick Nature Reserve

We celebrated nature's vibrant gifts with the Youth Retreat hosted by Lenapehoking at the Cohanzick Nature Reserve. This two-day retreat, organized by the Lenapehoking Reestablishment Project (LRP), was filled with enriching activities that connected participants to nature. Watch as young people engage in trail tours, wampum making, leather tooling, canoe crafting, dancing, drumming, singing bowls, language learning, corn husk doll making, and foraging.
