MommaTaunT - SINGS! - Rap Cover (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) ($uicideboy$ Cover)

I used to be a jazz singer and I missed singing so much and I wanted to do something different so last year i made a homage to the $uicideboy$ to show appreciation and to show that any good song can be made into something totaly different but still would work.

Me doing the underground rap songs in a MommaTaunt style was my idea since my son ​⁠​⁠​⁠ introduced me to the songs of the SuicideboyS and made me into MommaTaunT. But I never knew how to begin....

Only when I discovered Recet and did a reaction on his work, I knew I might have found someone I could do this project with. I'm so grateful that he was so exited to do this together!

I worked out the ideas for the music and had my ex husband play the guitar and bass. All the singing parts I did myself including all samples. Then I sent it over to Recet and he did the drumming part. And then weeks of sharing screens between him in the USA and me in the Netherlands to complete everything. With a lot of patience he put my vision into a remix and added even some things to it I would have never thought possible. What an amazing talented young man! So his producing and mixing skills were put to the test by me wanting to combine the old school jazz with the new era music, but I think he did a great job!
