Have you ever wondered why the narcissist doesn't make any sense? The narcissist word salad is one reason the narcissist seems to talk in circles. They will say words but you don't have any idea what they mean. You ask for more information and the narcissist uses one of their narcissistic punishment tactics to gaslight, belittle, and rage to keep you from asking further questions. The narcissist word salad is meant to confuse you and this is part of the narcissist gaslighting. Narcissists are confusing because of their gaslighting. If they can keep you confused between what is real and what is not, then you become easier to control and manipulate. The narcissist doesn't speak to you as a way to help you understand something. They speak to you how they need to feel better about themselves. Manipulation is common in toxic relationships and emotionally abusive relationships. When the narcissist uses word salad, learn to step away because no matter how much you want them to make sense, they just won't.
