In this tutorial, I am going to show you how we can extract fluid volume from a solid geometry which is imported from a cad software like Solidworks, and then use this fluid geometry in meshing tools like Fluent meshing and finally do a CFD simulation in Ansys Fluent software.

To do so, go to :

Prepare tab - Volume extract
you have different options.
1. First method, Select faces - Select seed face - complete. in Manifold example.
2. Second method, select Edges - Complete. in Cyclone model.
