Harsil is a beautiful hill station lies at 9007 feet above sea level in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Harsil is 470 km from Delhi, 244 km from Rishikesh, 78 km from Uttarkashi and 28 km from Gangotri. Harsil is a beautiful hill station full of waterfalls and glacial streams. Harsil situated at the confluence of three rivers named Kakora Gad, Jalandhari Gad and Bhagirathi river. Harsil is also famous for its apple orchards and recieves immense snowfall in winter months. There are numerous homestays, camps and hotels to stay in Harsil such as Sunder Homestays, Nelong Homestays and Homestay Snow Vista. There are many sightseeing attractions to visit near Harsil such as Mandakini waterfall, Mukhba village, Baori village, Dharali, Nelong valley, Bairon ghati, Bhagirathi point, Gangotri and Gaumukh.
