Les Dennis has shared the moment he "should have known" Amanda Holden was too young for him. The BBC Strictly Come Dancing star's comments have resurfaced as he competes on this year's series - years on from his marriage to Holden, 52.

Dennis explained: “I remember one day in our house in Highgate and it was the Grand National day. And the plumber was there to fix the washing machine and Amanda came running in and said, ‘We need to put a bet on.’ I went, ‘What?’” Amanda told Les it was the Grand National and he suggested placing a £10 bet, handing over a note.
