AS/COA hosted a panel focused on implications for economic development as part of its first annual full-day workshop and networking event focused on women's economic empowerment and leadership throughout the hemisphere, celebrated on October 11, 2012. Kristin Hetle, Director of Strategic Partnerships for UN Women, moderated the panel in which the speakers shared their personal story's and their advice on how to take advantage of the economic resources available.
