Sony ICF-6800W (White)

This video shows the Sony ICF-6800W (serial #15166) in operation. The time was 8:30am on 4/28/22 when the video was taken. The location was my backyard 25 miles east of Sacramento, CA. All bands were tested including shortwave. During this time of day, WWV on 5MHz and 10MHz were received as well as many of shortwave outlets 31M, 41M, 49M and 60M bands... all with the rod antenna. AM and FM signals were strong and received with excellent fidelity. Most notable on this receiver is amazing sensitivity on the AM broadcast band. For example, Los Angeles AM broadcast station KNX (1070) nearly 500 miles away had strong signals here this time of day where several of my other receivers could not pick it up.
