From vlogging, to low-budget indie filmmaking, to digital animation, the evolution of cinema history has brought us to this point. In this episode we point the camera back at the Webseries itself and go into the way we made this all possible. With cellphone cameras, free digital editing software, and the internet creating a means of collaboration and distribution, everyone can be a filmmaker. So long as you've got a story to tell and a bit of drive you can make it happen. And that is all thanks to the long history of technical and cultural innovations over the past century. From inventors, to the elite, to the industrial, to the educated, and now to all, motion pictures have come a long way, but have always shifted towards the independent. The democratization of film has allowed new voices to be heard and is the only reason I was able to make this Webseries possible. And with that, A Man Walks Into A Bar is a testament to it's basic premise: that we have come so far in this medium, but must always remember to look back once an a while. It's easier now then ever before.

Yet, every episode is completely unique in its interpretation of the director's style, technique, content, and genre. From film noir to musical comedy, Charlie Chaplin to Steven Spielberg, "A Man Walks Into A Bar" offers a crash course in cinema history in 12 episodes.
