Western Australia is a pretty windy place at the best of times but we managed to get out on our paddle boards despite the wind gusting up to 35km p/h or at least so our weather app said. It didn't actually feel that windy out in the water and the direction of the wind was pushing us back into shore. We stayed close enough so that we could jump off and wade ashore easily and had a really enjoyable time even if it was only a short paddle boarding session.
