Why These Hanukkah Decorations Have Upset Jewish Customers

Hanukkah decorations have been making their way onto the shelves of big-box retailers. However, these products seem to have missed their mark to some Jewish customers. Products for Hanukkah have been hard to find in the past, but items that have been put on the shelves recently make it seem like having no options was better.

Stores have been rebranding traditional Christmas songs to fit a Hanukkah-themed product. Deck The Menorah instead of Deck The Halls or blue and white products with the Star of David slapped on them, which makes it seem like these big-box retailers care more about selling a product than creating a quality product.

One TikTok user even pointed out that a Hanukkah-themed punch box style calendar from Target did not feature toys or candy of any sort. Unlike the Christmas advent calendars that the store also sells.
