Hi! it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And guess what I'm in right now, I'm inside our Thule tepui awning, which is made for your Thule teepui tent or for your crossbars. And today we're going to be taking a look at our mosquito netting. So this goes around your six foot awnings and keeps the bugs and debris out and the fun in. Now, please remember that this is designed to work with your Thule awning. So not really with any other awnings, because this is designed to work with how your Thule tepui awning is designed.

So we have these poles as well as this canvas on the top. So that's our base that comes with the awning. You may want to check that video out. All you get with this mosquito netting kit is the actual mosquito netting that clips onto those poles. So there is a bunch of different reasons and different situations where you would find this kind of mosquito netting on your awning helpful.

So for me, when I have a lunch break, I spent my lunch break right over here. It's very comfortable because it's kind of an enclosed space. But you still have that view, you still have that breeze. It keeps the debris out. It keeps the flying leaves out and the bugs out.

And it's just a nice, quiet, relaxing spot to relax with our netting up. I don't have to worry about anything popping in, but also if you're at the campsite, you're out camping, especially if you're in a humid area where there will be mosquitoes and there will be bugs. This is just a great way to still have that fun adventure without having to worry about getting bitten. Since this fits your six by six foot awning, that's about the amount of space you have within these walls. So you could fit.

It's more of an intimate gathering, maybe a couple of your friends, or maybe some kids, I think a great way to use this is let's say you go out to the park, you have your kids run out and around the tent outside, you get to stay inside underneath the shade, maybe sipping coffee. Notice how we also have four different openings. That gives you options if you want to go in through the front or through the side, if your kids want to pop in through the other wall, they can do that. The zippers are super easy to work with. They're on the larger side, which I like, because I don't really like the small teeth on our zippers. You also have one on each side. So whether you need to open and close it from the inside or the outside, you can do so. There's also a zipper right where your car is going to be. So that's nice because then you can access your car still. So whether you needed to get in through the window, like grab something through the window or open the door. That is an option for you. Now as for the mesh or the mosquito netting this is made of, I do like the material. It feels like a nice, strong, sturdy mesh. Even as I scratch at it with my fingernails, I don't feel it coming apart at all. It looks like it has a double weave there. So not like your just straight across weave, which is uncomfortable and kind of tight. This is nice, close together. It's still breathable, but it also works well for keeping those mosquitoes out. I didn't notice how when you do have it fully clipped up and staked down, the netting folds in. So that's going to be nice. It's going to help keep those bugs out. Now, if you do have grass kind of like this, they're still going to crawl through the grass, but it is still going to help keep out the majority of the insects. While the netting itself is not waterproof, your awning is weather resistant, so notice how they do add this hood and that overlaps over your netting, just to work with that weather resistance that is already on your awning. The install process is relatively simple. Honestly, the hardest part, or maybe the longest part of your whole experience is going to be setting up the awning itself. Now there are some little tips and tricks I have for the install process. Just to make it a little bit easier for you as you put this netting up. So let's take a look at that. So our mosquito net is stored inside this bag. So notice how this bag is designed just to fit that net. And this is going to make it a little bit more portable, hold it all together, especially when you have it packed up and you want to travel. So we'll take it out of the bag. Now, if you do have a windy day, kind of like what we have here today, I do recommend getting your friends to help you out as you put this up. Just so that one person holds one side down as the other one puts the other sid
