The FUSE 4 has been a highly anticipated training shoe for the PUMA fans out there, especially after the mostly positive reception of the 3.

This model, similar to other big brand even iterations (like Nike's Metcon and Reebok's Nano), is a continuation of the 3, carrying a lot of the core DNA of that model with some key upper updates.

For example, the core materials and lacing structure have been reworked, but the midsole and outsole have remained the same.

The FUSE 4 is interesting. Do I think it's a shoe for everyone? Not necessarily, but it will hit for some. Here's everything you need to know.

Overall, I do think the FUSE 4 is a better shoe compared to the 3 when it comes to overall quality.

Its stability and versatility will be identical to the 3, but its upper feels better and the normal lacing structure was a nice update compared to the offset used in the 3.

It's definitely a narrower trainer, though, so they're not going to be a shoe for everyone, especially my wide-footed friends.
