Citroën DS 19 S -63 with only 73920 km!

A low mileage DS in good condition, no weldings, and original interior.

This DS was living in Tarbes, France, bought new by a woman named Karine de Lanoe. When a good friend from Sweden visited her in 1969, she and her husband fell in love with the beautiful DS. They decided to buy the car and drove it to Sweden That is how the two French beauties ended up in Sweden, since the French-Swedish couple decided to buy the car from Karine in 1969. When arriving in Sweden they realized, it would be very complicated and expensive to register it in Sweden at that time.

So after having been driven with the DS for a few months until the French insurance had expired - the car was put into a storage where it ended up for 45 years till 2014.
At that time the car only had 69000 km. While having this long “beauty-sleep”, the DS was still maintained and started regularly as well as she was stored in an ideal, well protected place.

In 2015 the beauty was finally woken up and registered to get back on Swedish roads again. The DS didn’t need a full restoration. She just got a repaint - except for the roof and doors, which reportedly didn’t need a repaint.

The engine has been restored. It’s equipped with a stainless steel exhaust.
The hydraulic system, steering etc. have also been revised.
She got new Michelin tires and a new tank has just recently been installed.

The car hasn’t had any weldings done, it is rust protected and there is no corrosion visible. The interior is original and in a fantastic condition.

Everything is now fully functioning and the car drives extremely well as can be seen in the video.

The DS passed her last technical control in Sweden in 2017. Since Swedish law says that cars older than 50 years, never have to be shown a second time to the technical control, another test wasn’t necessary.

We sell this DS for the owners in northern Sweden, but the vehicle is already standing in our showroom in Southern Sweden, close to Malmö. The car is sold because the owner passed away unexpectedly this summer and the heirs want to sell it as it is.
