Prayer is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with an object of worship through deliberate communication. Aarti is a sanatan ritual employed in worship, often part of a puja, in which light is ritually waved for the veneration of deities. Arti also refers to the songs sung in praise of the deity, when the light is being offered.
