Power Director 19 is a wonderful program, but it currently does not have the ability to handle Quicktime MOV files with Transparent Backgrounds. Importing motion graphics during the video editing process is a major part of creating a video and these days most of the videos I like using seem to come in the .mov quicktime format. I've managed to find a work around that I'm going to share with you so that you can import your own Quicktime MOV files with transparent backgrounds into PowerDirector 19.
