750cc OHC twin, based on the Honda CB77 engine design and beefed up to a 650/750. The ‘SF’ series were the sporting models and in a higher state of tune. This engine is now about SFC (competition) spec and makes around 75bhp. Super heavy clutch and quite demanding to ride, it’s tremendous fun and was built as the Italian alternative to a BMW or Triumph twin. Personally, I prefer the 750 twins to the larger (and more famous) triples.
