I am going to be laying out some deep cuts, cult classics and undiscovered gems in this video series

The 1980s and 1990s were a golden age of creativity from Konami. Nothing exemplified this more than the parody shooter series Parodius. It is cute, creative, wacky, well made and the Game Boy version holds up as one of the best shooters on the Game Boy platform.

While Europe got a release, the game series was mostly unknown in North America.

So that's why I am making the inaugural video about the Gameboy version of Parodius, which is way better than you would expect it to be.
