2024 Aprilia RS 660 Trofeo w/ SC Project Exhaust Sound in action at Mugello & Imola!

Since its unveil Aprilia Racing tried to advertise the RS 660 a lot with the creation of a dedicated one-make series in order to both highlight the qualities of the middleweight supersport and serve as a launching pad for young drivers. The Italian ''RS 660 Trofeo'' championship is nowadays organized and promoted by BK Corse and held during the Campionato Italiano Velocità CIV racing weekends.

In 2023 the series underwent a real revolution, giving the various teams the opportunity to field their bikes with major modifications and new liveries, instead of being kept totally similar and managed by Aprilia and BK Corse. The teams have now the possibility of working on all the details related to the set-up that, as always, will make the substantial difference but that still comply with a well-defined technical ruleset.

To create the Trofeo version of the RS 660, Aprilia Racing intervened in a targeted manner on the already excellent road base, using the best racing components on the market. Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes with dedicated racing pads, specific Sprint Filter air filter and SC Project exhaust. Tyre supplier of the series is Pirelli, with Supercorsa V3 SC1 tyres. The 659cc parallel-Twin engine is able to produce 105 HP at the crank at 10,500 rpm. With a dry weight of only 153 kg the RS 660 Trofeo offer maximum fun on the track.
