When the Great Beings sought to create Mata Nui, they could find no power source with enough power. They tore a rift in the fabric of their reality and drew from another, jump-starting the Matoran Universe. However, in doing so, they revealed their presence to Ignus, the Lord of Lighnting.

Undisputed ruler of his realm, Ignus saw this as a threat to his power. He sent the Avohkah, his subjects, to conquer this strange realm for him. They were forced back, and the rift was sealed. Ever since, Ignus has been trying to break through the barrier, and claim this world as his own.

Ignus is best described as a madman. He will kill whatever he wants, whenever he wants, in whichever way he wants. He doesn’t sit still long enough to have a throne, and simply flies through the clouds of his realm as he pleases. With an entire universe at his command, he has no reason to invade another.

But he’s bored, so why not?

Commentary: I had this idea for a few days. So, I figured, why not build it? Ignus is now one of my favorite characters. I imagine him being absolutely psychotic, having the time of his life as he renders the universe uninhabitable.
