Follow our detailed instructions for changing Nissan 350Z shock absorbers. The steps in this video can apply to the Nissan 350Z, Fairlady, 280ZZ, and 300ZX.

► Nissan 350Z shock replacement steps:
0:03 Replacing Nissan 350Z front shock absorbers
0:08 Tools needed for Nissan 350Z shock absorber replacement
0:18 Spray control arm nuts and bolts with penetrating oil
0:34 Disconnect wiring and brake hosing
0:50 Raise the control arm using a jack lift
1:34 Remove the old Nissan 350Z shock absorber
3:28 Set up the new Nissan 350Z shock absorber
4:19 Fit the new shock absorber into the wheel arch
4:54 Re-attach the stabiliser link, control arm, and wiring
6:11 Re-fit the wheel on the car

7:49 Raise the vehicle using your transmission jack lift
7:56 Spray control arm nuts and bolts with penetrating oil
8:06 Remove the old shock absorber and compress the coil spring

Allen key socket: 6 mm
Spanners: 14, 24 mm

Pin punch
Penetrating oil
Wheel chocks
Transmission jack lift
Coil spring compressor
