TVR cars - classic TVRs in photos, 1950s - 2000s

TVR cars of Blackpool are the subject of this Old Classic Car video compilation, and in it one of the very first examples from the 1950s is included, followed by cars of the 1960s (Griffith, Vixen etc), 1970s (3000M etc), 1980s (350i etc) and later. News of brand new TVRs destined for full-time production has been bubbling away for some years now, hopefully those plans will come to fruition and new cars bearing the TVR badge will roll out of the factory doors before too long - albeit in Wales, rather than the old base in Blackpool.
TVRs have always had an enthusiastic following despite their propensity to rust beneath their fibreglass bodyshells or fail to proceed entirely. They are forgiven their foibles thanks in the main to the theatre that driving these cars invokes, the noise, the handling, the overall spectacle that they create whether on the road, or lapping racing circuits rubbing the Armco barriers on the edge of adhesion.
