If you suffer from neck pain, you're not alone.

Many people have this pain at some point in their life.

It affects all ages and may keep you from activities that you enjoy.

Poor posture, injury, and aging can lead into neck pain.

Here at Miami Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute, we're eager to provide a home exercise program that will guide you in rehabbing your neck pain.

Please seek medical care at any point in time if you have one of the following; numbness, tingling,
or weakness in other parts of the body, especially in the shoulder, arms, or hands, neck pain that doesn't go away or worsens, trouble walking.

When neck muscles are strong, the neck has more support and is able to move more naturally.

Move slowly as you exercise and do not force your neck into positions and don't overdo it.

Here's some helpful tips for safe neck exercises.

Only do the exercises your healthcare provider suggested and only as often as prescribed.

Don't hold your breath during the exercises and breath normally.

Never force your neck into positions when doing the exercise.

Immediately stop if you feel pain, tingling, numbness, dizziness, or light headedness.

Then, talk to your healthcare provider.
