All About ... Charlotte's Hazmat Support Engines

This video is all about the Charlotte NC Fire Department and their new Hazmat Support Engines they are placing in service. Beginning in 2021, department has been replacing the engines in the departments Hazmat Stations with purpose designed and built Hazmat Support Engines. These engines allow the companies to operate like a regular engine company, but they also carry additional hazmat equipment that allows the engine company to respond to smaller hazmat emergencies without switching over to their larger regular Hazmat rigs.
