"The Georgian government is considering now to bring the case before the European court of Human Rights on rights violations in the Russian Federation, and I think we will have our case, because this kind of thing cannot be tolerated by any civilised nation anywhere in the world. We are ready for bilateral dialogue with Russians, but we really hope that these outrageous violations of human rights of individuals based on their ethnicity, which is totally unacceptable in 21st century, will cease. "

"We are obviously always ready for the dialogue. I am ready to meet my Russian counterpart any time he wants to. We will just wait and see, because Georgia is not provoking anything, we have not been making any statements or any actions for that purpose. We are just watching with amusement and bewilderment some of the things that happen in Moscow."

STORYLINE
Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said on Sunday he is considering bringing the case of alleged human rights violations against Georgians in Russia before the European Court of Justice.
"This kind of thing cannot be tolerated by any civilised nation anywhere in the world." Saakashvili said to an AP Television crew in Georgian television's Rustavi 2 studios.
Saakashvili stressed that he is open for bilateral talks with Russia and is ready to meet his Russian counterpart President Vladimir Putin "at any time."
Russia has severed all transport and postal links with Georgia, stopped issuing entry visas to Georgians, and raided Georgians in Moscow in a row over Tbilisi's arrest last month of four Russian soldiers on spying charges.
The soldiers were released but their arrest fuelled tensions between the two nations.
Relations between Russia and Georgia steadily have deteriorated since pro-Western Saakashvili came to power in Georgia in 2003 and vowed to move his country out of Russia's sphere of influence and join NATO and the EU.
Moscow, in turn, accuses Tbilisi of backing separatists in the breakaway Georgian regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
