Children's Choir 1B is one of the young artist ensembles at SLCC under the direction of Mrs. Adrienne Broyles, and Katie Beth Blumenfeld, Accompanist.

As part of SLCC's 2022 Holiday Concert Program, "Sure on this Shining Night" is a theme attributed to Morten Lauridsen's composition of the titular piece, sung by SLCC's very own Concert Choir in this program. Our yearly winter concerts seek to celebrate the joy of unity, a concept which spans cultures and backgrounds. We celebrate not only the merry goings of the holidays, but also the hushed wonder of finding oneself in the grasp of winter and in the midst of loved ones. Enjoy pieces sung in Hebrew, Ukrainian, Latin, and other languages, as we come together to sing as one in this special production.
