1. Attack telegraphs

prior to each attack the enemy digimon will do an action that will let you know the attack is coming

if you see them with a gold field of energy that means it is about to launch a special attack

so be ready


2. defending

learning the defensive tamer skills are crucial

if timed correctly it can negate most damage from an on coming attack


3. healing timing
the best time to heal your digimon during battle is after commanding them to defend

by doing so you ensure they wont take massive damage as you do the healing animation


4. OP timing
by timing your cheer with a connecting attack or knock back recovery

your digimon will gain op to be used in many ways

such as defending, special moves and even exe evolution


5. support moves and buffs

there are certain attack skills that buff your digimon's attack power

one of them being muscle charge, I recommend trying it out

you will also want to use items called plugins that can augment defense or attack or both during battle
