My live impressions as I unbox this awesome (spoiler!) monitor. I try it quite a bit with Prepar3d V3 and also with GTA V to see how it feels to game with it. It's not a demo or a review, but if you are wondering if you should buy this kind of monitor, you should find this informative. I also check out if a Macbook Air mid 2013 can drive this monster. - UPDATE -- Guys and girls I have to add some "bad" news here. I RETURNED THE MONITOR in the end because it made a really loud humming sound when I turned down the contrast. Turning down the speakers did not help.

At first I asked for a new unit and then I changed my mind and asked for a refund. Why? Because a lot of people are saying they have all kinds of issues on reddit (/ultrawidemasterrace) and I just did not want a new problem to pop up just after the warranty expires on a $CAD 1,100 monitor...

Do I still recommend it? Absolutely, as long as you don't perceive a risk here as I do. A lot of people got a fine monitor that works perfectly. I absolutely love this monitor and I will definitely order this one, or one in this format from another company, in a few months when they have worked out the kinks.
