“My artwork reflects the colorful nature of my South-Asian culture. My themes involve nature and explore the extravagant surfaces and textures that are present around us. By combining my culture and natures beauty, I choose to create pieces to show the power of color in all mediums. I love to see my pieces bringing joy in any spaces they occupy. My work also reflects the loss of nature and colors that are impacted due to global warming and climate change. By portraying the vibrancy of life and nature, I aim to preserve the memory of the beauty around us.” - Christina Gomes
