Why Chiefs' Noah Gray Is Getting Some Travis Kelce Usage

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray has four touchdowns in his last two games — but that's far from the only contributions he's had lately.

KC Star reporter Jesse Newell and Brett Taveau — longtime high school offensive coordinator and author of Chiefs book "Unpacking Greatness" — take a closer look at what Gray did well in the Chiefs' 30-27 road victory over the Carolina Panthers.

The Chiefs coaches certainly appear to be more comfortable now using Gray in Travis Kelce-like ways, with at least two plays specifically designed to open him up.

Gray also is standing out in other areas, showing great fundamentals to free himself on routes while also giving extra blocking effort against defenders much bigger than he is.
