Available at - https://timferriermusic.com/collectio.... I wanted to write something different to the American style band music we hear so much of, so I chose the style of British folk songs. 'Tales Of The Sea' has 4 contrasting sections - Sea Shanty - Lament - Sailor's Dance - Danger On The High Seas. The main melodies of these combine to create a 5th section - 4 melodies played together!

Commissioned by the North Shore Schools Band Festival 2012.

This recording has been put together using samples from EastWest and Samplemodeling. Please also check out the live recording made by the Castle Hill RSL Youth Wind Orchestra.
